Business resources

These resources are generic resources that I have used throughout my career and side hustles thus far. They are services and softwares that most businesses will make use of in one way or another.

Business administration

While these are connected to finance, I couldn't categorise them under Accountancy tools. They are services and softwares that my like easier on a daily basis, as well for thousands of others.

Accountancy services and tools

As one of the main focuses of this website is finance, it would be remiss of me not include this section in my 'useful resources' page. I'll include some people that I have worked with in the past, and also some tools that I could not live without.

Website and marketing

Most businesses these days will have a website of some sort. With that comes a design, somewhere to host it, and ways to market it. I cover some areas in the resources below.

JenksDev - Design, management and hosting

A project of my own, naturally. Outside of this blog, I build, host and manage websites on WordPress; a piece of software that powers an estimated 40% of all websites in existence today. My target market is small to medium businesses who need a relatively 'simple' website that is largely a marketing engine to push their services, rather than a web application.

Webflow - Design and hosting

A tool that is gaining more and more popularity, and rightly so. Webflow is a drag and drop website editor in its simplest form, but when all features are used it's a powerhouse in every aspect. The capability that is contained within Webflow is truly phenomenal. That being said, you'd need to learn how to use it in order to build your website, or navigate to their 'Experts' page from which you can hire a professional.

ConvertKit - Email marketing

'The money is in the list' is a common line uttered by marketeers and sales people. I couldn't agree more. ConvertKit is my email marketing tool of choice for all websites, other than the very website that you're reading right now. I explain why in this post.

By the way, if you'd like to fire your email address over my way, then please do so by subscribing.

Anyway, the reason I use ConvertKit is because it's easy to use, it doesn't over complicate things just for the sake of it, and the delivery rate to the target's inbox is higher than other services that I have used; it's reasonably priced too.
